Performance speed painting.

It all started innocently enough…”Would you be willing to do a painting while I preach?”

Me: Um…ok? (Maybe I couldn’t…but I knew God could!)

And that’s how Performance Speed Painting became part of my artistic expression. I had been painting props and backdrops for dramas for this church for a few years, so the question wasn’t completely out of the blue-my pastor knew I could paint.

The real question was, “How fast could I paint?”

For that service I painted It Is Finished (on the left) in 19 minutes (I was really nervous!) and The Lion of Judah (on the right) in 30 minutes.

The paintings were auctioned off and are currently in private collections in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
